Looking forward to Love Supreme 2019: TLG's top picks from the line-up
Our favourite jazz festival is back in a couple of weeks with an unrivalled line-up to supply all your funky needs. Taking place in Glynde, East Sussex (a short trip from Brighton) the event will last for 3 days from July 5th – 7th - tickets are still available here.
Love Supreme 2017
Headliners include Lauryn Hill, Gladys Knight, Jimmy Cliff, Chick Corea and Snarky Puppy. You can view the full line-up and stage schedules here, and at the bottom of the page, but we have chosen our favourites aside from the big names - here are our picks from each of the stages…
MAIN STAGE
Tank and the Bangas - Saturday 14:15
Who could ever forget the energy of Tank and the Bangas’ legendary Tiny Desk back in 2017? Who could possibly rival their exquisite attitude and funkiness? Very few, and we can guarantee that their Main Stage performance will be one to remember.
Mahalia - Sunday 16:45
Leicester-born goddess who’s album Love and Compromise is set for release in September 2019. Her synthy, jazzy R&B features catchy yet quirky melodies and irresistibly toe-tapping grooves.

Linton Kwesi Johnson - Saturday 18:45
